Naturally, students and teachers want to create and explore. We are wired to learn. We are curious by design. Unfortunately, school does not always nourish our creativity. My goal is to help students grow their curiosity through writing, discussion and class activities. The best educators feed our natural hunger to learn.

Reflection is an inexpensive strategy that encourages creativity in teachers and students. In addition, we can usher in positive changes in the way we "do education" by rewarding originality and encouraging risks. It starts by investing in relationships and making risk-taking a part of our culture of learning.
